Organized by EYFON at the Europaburg in Neumarkt (Austria), the radio workshop Give Europe Your Voice invited 30 young people from across Europe to reflect on the values that remain vital in today’s fast-moving and digitalized society. Which principles are essential for trust, solidarity, and cohesion – and how can they be preserved in Europe’s future?
During the workshop, participants created their own radio pieces, sharing personal and creative reflections on values such as respect, democracy, and responsibility in the digital era. The activity was embedded in the seminar “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?!”, which focused on fake news, deepfakes, and AI-generated content. Together with EYFON experts and external speakers, the participants learned to critically question digital information and to strengthen their media literacy.
The resulting radio productions are inspiring and thought-provoking, giving authentic insights into how young Europeans view the challenges of digitalization and the importance of core values for Europe’s future. They invite listeners to tune in, reflect, and discover what truly matters to the next generation.
